Building AI agents for business support using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore

The AWS Generative AI Innovation Center (GenAIIC) partnered with Works Human Intelligence (WHI) to develop two AI agents using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. These agents handle business support tasks, such as answering employee queries and automating workflows. The collaboration faced challenges including data privacy, latency, and integration with existing systems. Solutions included fine-tuning models, optimizing prompts, and using Bedrock's built-in security features. The agents achieved up to 97% cost reduction compared to previous methods, while also improving response times and accuracy. The deployment leveraged Amazon Bedrock's managed infrastructure, reducing operational overhead. This case study highlights how Bedrock AgentCore enables rapid development of custom agents for enterprise use cases.
