Durable Objects, Workers - New `us` jurisdiction for Durable Objects
Cloudflare has introduced a new `us` jurisdiction for Durable Objects, enabling developers to explicitly define that their Durable Objects are stored and processed within the United States. This update, announced on June 26, 2026, adds to the existing jurisdiction options, which previously included only `eu` for Europe. The `us` jurisdiction is available immediately for all Workers using Durable Objects. Developers can now specify the jurisdiction when creating a Durable Object namespace, ensuring data residency requirements are met. This change is part of Cloudflare's ongoing efforts to provide more granular control over data location for developers building with Workers and Durable Objects.
Developers can now ensure Durable Objects data resides in the US, aiding compliance with data residency requirements.
