Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, announced on May 27, 2026, addresses the challenge of managing multiple specialized AI agents in enterprise settings. At AWS Sales, more than 20 domain-specific agents were deployed globally, but representatives had to manually choose which agent to use, leading to context-switching and cognitive load. AgentCore provides orchestration capabilities, allowing agents to work together autonomously. This reduces the burden on users and enables more complex workflows. The service is available now through Amazon Bedrock, with pricing based on inference and orchestration usage. For developers, this means building multi-agent systems without custom orchestration code.
